FMCO 1st June 2021 - Essential Services and Business Can Open via MITI CIMS 3.0

Updated: Jun 3, 2021

Watch this space for the latest updates for the upcoming FMCO 1st June 2021. Please bear with the government's website, as there is a huge amount of web traffic due to everyone trying to access latest information.

As the latest MITI letter will lapse after 31st May 2021, SME employers for essential services and business would need to apply through the respective ministries, for example, agricultural business owners to apply from the agricultural ministry, for the approval letters to allow staff to travel to work. However, subsequently MITI has now been appointed to be a one stop centre where all eligible to operate FMCO companies will have to apply for a MITI application letter to conduct their business.

Please check out the below MITI FAQ for PKP 3.0 for the full list of Essential Service Sectors allowed to operate during FMCO 1st June 2021.

For manufacturing that have previously applied MITI before during PKP 1.0 and 2.0, and are within the approved list, you can just print your new updated MITI lettter via CIMS 3.0.

Whenever we have any updates, we will update this blog for further notice.

Stay safe everyone and let's flatten the curve of Covid-19 infections!
